Cut out pattern and then cut out each fabric piece
Traced 1/8 inch seam allowance
Hand stitched a basting stitch onto all fabric pieces
Pinned under an 1/8 of an inch and started hand stitching it down to the backing but the pins hindered my sewing
Took out most of the pins and ironed down the edges but kept the pins in to hold the mitered corners down
Pinned flower backing to the base fabric and started hand sewing them together

Tried a few different layouts before deciding on this layered look for the petals
Pinned down and hand sewed each petal
Pinned and sewed down the last petal down
All petals sewed down
Ironed down edges of both circles
Pined down the larger circle
Hand stitched the larger circle
Pinned and hand stitched down smaller circle
